My favorite nugget from the Podcast is when Peter talks about Harvard Professor Ronald Heifetz’s work on adaptive challenges – where business people are called to solve problems where no solutions seem to exist. Peter talks about there never being a time when we have faced more adaptive challenges – we are experiencing them every day. The evidence is that the only way to deal with adaptive challenges is to grow the way you lead. And you need to master the inner mental complexity that is so important to leadership – you need to be intentional and on a growth trajectory, or you will struggle with adaptive challenges.
