Yesterday, I posed a challenge to come up with a list of the three most important initiatives we each want to do next year to grow and expand our businesses.
For some entrepreneurs, the answer to this question is clear. They know what they need to do but perhaps are stuck on execution.
There are also plenty of other entrepreneurs where the answer is a lot less clear. There are many things that you might want to try and do to grow your business, but you are not sure of what is going to work, so it's challenging to create a top three list.
If you are in this camp, focus on building a testing list instead. What are the three to five things you want to try next year and see if they work? But do the hard work. How much money are you willing to allocate to testing the idea and seeing if it sticks. When will you know to double down or kill an initiative - or perhaps replace it with something else. Layout a testing matrix and make it happen.
