AmiSight 4/7: Thinking About the EU’s Dependence on Russian Gas

I have learned a lot over the last few weeks about many parts of the world's dependence on grain and gas from Russia and Ukraine. One article spoke about the EU nations struggling the most to shake their dependency on Russian gas. There are plenty of other articles about the grain crisis and worries about food shortages.

It's easy to point fingers and blame politicians for the situation. However, the Ukraine / Russia crisis could have blown up at any time, so why weren't we better prepared? If we look at many of our supply chains, there is a similar potential time bomb looming. What is the most significant risk in your supply chain, or as I asked a few weeks ago, what could bring your business to its knees? The lesson here is not to ignore your issue.
