AmiSight 8/25: Taking the Uncle Joe Question to the Next Level
In my workshops, I often ask entrepreneurs to create a shopping list of investments for their businesses. The specific question is, What would they do with the money if Uncle Joe gave them $1M to invest in opportunities in their business that they are not taking advantage of?
Invariably, everyone has an easy time coming up with their shopping list. Seeing what happens when you let your mind flow freely is fascinating. And then the next question I ask is, Why aren’t you doing those things anyway?
Last week I was in Little Rock working with some Vistage groups, and I went a step further. We dug into the question of why the entrepreneurs weren't making these investments. These discussions brought further clarity to the deeper issue.
