For parents, do you remember when your kids would wake up in the middle of the night with growing pains? And there was nothing you could do to help them other than try to comfort them or perhaps put them in a hot bath. I remember feeling frustrated (and a little tired).
There is an old analogy that building a business is like raising a child. And just like a child, companies will hit growing pains along the way. I feel like my company is hitting one of those spots right now, with lots of tough decisions to make as we try to push through to the next level.
In these situations, there is a difference between the kid and the company. With the kid, it's likely you, and maybe your spouse are up in the middle of the night wondering what to do. With your company, you can find support. Join a peer-to-peer group and or get a business coach to help support you through these decisions. You do not have to fight through the pain alone!!!
