AmiSight 10/1: Temporary Can Last Long Enough to Hurt You

I have watched business owners accept expensive short-term solutions because they believe they only need a little more time. Sometimes they are right.
But temporary has a way of lasting much longer than expected. One business owner I know made payments of more than $35,000 a month for twenty-one months while waiting for things to improve.
Temporary solutions can be useful, but they can also quietly consume the money and options needed to find a permanent one. There is almost always another way to skin the cat, but you have to slow down long enough to look for it.
Before accepting a bridge, ask yourself what happens if you are still standing on it a year from now.
