A big part of having grit is innovation — being open to new ideas and willing to try something new even when it’s not perfect.
This week, our Referral Advantage ™ Program, which we launched at NAGGL (our trade association), came to life. The idea was born just 90 days ago — at a lunch, of all places. From that spark, we got it live and ready for market.
Is it perfect? No. Does it have every bell and whistle? Not yet. But that’s okay. The important thing is that we took an idea and made it real.
As companies grow larger and more established, maintaining that spirit of innovation becomes harder. Bureaucracy creeps in. Processes slow things down. It’s easy to lose that scrappy mindset that drives new ideas forward.
The question is: How do we keep that innovative spark alive as we grow?
I’d love to hear your thoughts — how do you and your teams stay open to new ideas and keep the spirit of experimentation alive?
