“Life is like a helicopter. I don’t know how to operate a helicopter.”

Just like operating a helicopter, life can feel overwhelmingly complex. The difference? You can be trained to fly a helicopter. But when it comes to navigating life—work, relationships, health, purpose—there’s no manual, no official training. Sometimes it feels almost impossible.

Some days, we’ve got it under control. Other days, we’re just improvising—pressing buttons at random, hoping something brings a little relief or direction.

This quote is a reminder that it’s normal not to have everything figured out. No one really does. And that’s okay.
