This quote raises a simple but powerful question: Based on what Adam is saying, are you a selfish leader—or a servant one? Of course, everyone wants to say that they are a servant leader, but do their actions support that? Are they prioritizing their decisions based on the greater good over personal gain? Do they admit to their mistakes or point the finger at someone else? Do they let go of their ego in championing the mission rather than their status?
No one is perfect — even the best leaders will fall short at times. But before claiming to be a servant leader, ask yourself: Do your actions truly support that claim?
