AmiSight 8/12: Inc. 5000 Season is Upon Us

I am starting to see friends post their 2025 Inc. 5000 Awards. While I truly congratulate them, I can’t help but comment about my concerns. The award celebrates rapid top-line growth, which often leads to fundamental problems. Sometimes I see people post their award and get celebrated, yet I know that the business is one payroll away from collapse.
Growth without stability can be a dangerous game. As I often remind entrepreneurs: revenue is vanity and profit is sanity.
