AmiSight 8/26: Confused by the Economy? You’re Not Alone

Understanding the economy today is really confusing. Yesterday, I posted an article about McDonald's lowering prices due to really pressure from their consumers. I feel that when we go to restaurants, prices are up. In some areas it appears that tariffs are starting to impact prices. And we also read about companies looking to hire less people in the next six months.
At the same time, our lending pipeline remains completely robust and as best as we can tell, no one is putting their brakes on. What do I do with all this information? I keep plugging and moving on and life will continue and we will live to fight another day.
