Almost every day I meet a business owner or an entrepreneur who has wrong assumptions about the SBA. They've spoken with a friend who had a bad experience, and they assume that bad experience is the program. What they don't take a step back to think about is that experience might be based on the lender that their friend was using, the state of their friend's business, or what their friend was asking. Throw all your assumptions out the window, friends, and start again. The SBA is in fact one of the best kept secrets in government and could be a tremendous resource to you.
