AmiSight 11/11: Veterans Day: Gratitude for Those Who Keep Leading the Way

Today, I’m thinking about the incredible men and women who’ve worn our nation’s uniform — and what happens after they serve.

Many veterans continue to give back. They build businesses. In fact, more than 1.6 million U.S. companies are owned by veterans, employing over 3 million people. That’s leadership, discipline, and purpose in action.

I’ve met a few veteran entrepreneurs over the years, and their quiet confidence always strikes me. They’ve been through more formidable challenges than most of us can imagine — so when business gets bumpy, they keep moving forward.

Today, I want to express my gratitude to all who have served, and to those who continue to serve through their businesses, communities, and their example.
