AmiSight 2/2: Looking For New Ways To Train Your Executive Team

This week’s podcast guest is the co-founder and CEO of Growth Institute, the leading online education company for C-level executives, Daniel Marcos. Daniel is a member of EO, YPO, and a keynote speaker, Scaling Up Coach, and CEO Coach, with a mission to help 1 million entrepreneurs scale their impact. Daniel has been recognized in Expansion Magazine’s “30 under 30” and decided to partner with Verne Harnish in 2012 to build the Growth Institute and bring executive training to the masses. In less than a decade, Growth Institute has been recognized among the top 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the USA, with over 40,000 members across 64 countries. Now, training once reserved for a small niche of wealthy companies is available to all CEOs and their executive teams at a more affordable price.

As a serial entrepreneur, Daniel quickly realized that CEOs are often the company's bottleneck. In the same way that you can't solve a problem without first elevating your mindset, a business can’t evolve beyond what the CEO can handle. Daniel also learned that he could only grow his company if he grew his team first. So he helped his team grow and become better the same way he had taught himself – by learning from the best. Whenever Daniel had a specific issue in his business, he consulted the leading experts in those fields by reading their books and attending their courses.

Now, he is helping other companies do the same thing. There are all kinds of training and education from the world's leading thought leaders on topics relevant to business on the Growth Institute website. What sets them apart from other education platforms is that it is hybrid, including learning and implementation. This means that you don't just watch a video, and you're done- the thought leaders and Growth Institute community help you to implement the methodologies you've just learned.
